'BJP politicising KPSC row'

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, on Sunday, spoke of giving a fitting reply to the opposition BJP, which he claimed was politicising the recommendations made to the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).

Speaking to media persons at his T K Layout residence, in the city, Siddaramaiah said, “The BJP is spreading lies and the Congress party will give a fitting reply to it”.

At the same time, H Govindaiah, whose name has been recommended as KPSC member, exuded confidence that Governor Vajubai R Vala will give his consent to the names recommended by the chief minister’s office to the KPSC.

Best team ever
Govindaiah said: “It has been the best ever team that has been recommended for the KPSC. The governor should act wisely, as the allegations made by the saffron party are baseless”.

However, Govindaiah termed his visit to the CM’s house as casual, as both have been friends for long. Govindaiah’s name hit the headlines ever since the issue surrounding his wife’s illegal caste certificate as Dalit resurfaced, soon after his nomination to the KPSC was made public.
