While the vaccination will be administered on January 18 in booths, on January 19 and 20, volunteers will make door-to-door visits in rural areas.

On January 21, they will visit city houses to identify and administer drops to the children who have not visited the booths.

The district requires 1,16,875 doses of polio vaccination and arrangements have been made to dispatch the same.

The Forest department has been requested to give permission for the vehicles to reach the tribal areas in the region.
