After foraying into taxi services, aggregator TaxiForSure on Friday launched autorickshaw services in the City. The service will be available at a click on the TaxiForSure mobile app, wherein customers can book an auto to commute in the City.

The firm has tied up with Three Wheels United which will provide 500 autorickshaws to start with. Raghunandan G, co-founder & CEO and Aprameya R, co-founder & Director, TaxiForSure, launched the service. Arvind Singhal, Chief Operating Officer of the company was also present at the launch.

The auto service is available through the website and mobile app, which allows customers to book an auto in a few simple and easy steps. Customers have to open the app, click on the auto icon, followed by ‘Pick Now.’

“We have now launched 500 autos, but in two to three weeks’ time, we will augment the number,” Raghunandan said.  “Many a times, due to non-availability of hatchbacks, sedans or Nano taxis, we had to turn down the customers. But with this service, customers will be able to choose from a variety of vehicles for their commute,” he added.

Convenience fee
The fares for the autos will be the same as fixed by the government.
However, the customers will have to pay Rs 10 convenience fee other than the fare, he added.

The app will be multilingual, supporting English, Hindi, and Kannada. This will enable the drivers to read the complete address in his preferred language and by using map-based navigation reach the customer point.

Also, TaxiForSure will launch a detailed driver rating and feedback system, which will allow users to give a 5-star rating to a driver, and share their feedback on the service.

All the auto drivers associated with the aggregator will be trained from the TaxiForSure drivers training school, added the founders.
