Steve Aoki unleashes music madness

Vh1 Supersonic

EDM maestro Steve Aoki, recently returned to India for a three city tour with Vh1 Supersonic Arcade.

The Japanese-American, who is well known for his crazy on-stage antics during concerts, mesmerised Delhiites by what he is known for – throwing cakes at the audience, riding rafts over the crowd, spraying champagne on the crowd and frequently interacting with them. The Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon was packed by thousands of electro music fans from across the city and the NCR region.

The performance absolutely thrilled the crowd thanks to the special numbers from his new album release “Neon Future”, his crazy on-stage antics and even the fireworks during the concert.

DJ Mash opened the evening for warming the crowd before actually handing over the proceedings to the EDM maestro. Harkeerat Bachhal, a student from Amity says “We have been to a lot of music concerts but this one was really amazing as it was an open air concert. Last time when Steve performed in India it was indoors which made it sweaty
and claustrophobic.”

Aoki has been recognised for his creation of leading chartbusters with some of the titans of the music industry like Will.i.am, Afrojack, Linkin Park, LMFAO, Iggy Azalea, Lil Jon and
Laidback Luke.

Winson Thopmaya and Gione Debul, students from abroad told Metrolife, “It was hard to expect someone like Steve to perform here. He is the best DJ around; after getting the confirmation of the concert we directly went to the box office to get our tickets done.”

The three-city tour saw Aoki creating ripples with hits like "A light that never comes", "Get me outta here", "Free the madness", "Flight" and "Back to earth".
