A new training ground

With a view to source quality personnel for Audi facilities across India, the VG-TAP (Audi Specific) training facilities at HEA Polytechnic was inaugurated recently by Alexis Joseph, national head-after sales Audi India accompanied by KC Samuel, director, Hindustan Electronics Academy. 

“HEA is the first Institute in India to have Audi specific facilities under the Volkswagen Group Technical Training Program VG-TAP India. Polytechnic students are selected for this training and are recruited into Audi facilities in the country,” said Samuel.

Under the Volkswagen Group Technical Education Program at  VG-TAP centre at HEA Polytechnic, students studying final-year diploma in automobile engineering / mechanical engineering are selected in batches of 18 and undergo training for a period of eight months apart from the regular academic curriculum after college hours. 

Students after the successful completion of the training are called for campus selection by Volkswagen Group (Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, Porsche and Lamborghini) and are selected for various Volkswagen group dealers in India.

Students are issued a certificate from the Volkswagen Group for having completed the VG-TAP training successfully which is valid globally.
