Motorcycle rider killed in accident

 A motorcycle-rider was run over by a vehicle in south Delhi’s RK Puram during the wee hours of Wednesday.

Police said no eyewitness has come forward yet and the offending vehicle not identified.Victim Rahul Verma, 29, was lying injured on the road while his damaged Yamaha motorcycle was found some distance away around 1 am on Wednesday.

He was declared dead upon being brought to the AIIMS trauma centre, said police.A resident of south Delhi’s Madanpur Khadar, Verma was identified with the help of some documents found in his pocket.

Police have registered a case of rash driving and causing death by negligence against unidentified persons and are attempting to identify the driver.
