Last Updated 07 March 2015, 08:21 IST

An upscale bar and restaurant Keya denied entry to Nipun Malhotra, a specially-abled person on Friday, triggering  online outrage.

Keya is situated at DLF Promenade Mall situated, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

According to Malhotra, the security at Keya stopped him from entering the premises when he went there along with his friends on Friday.

Zee News quoted a Keya manager who said Malhotra had been denied entry as the restaurant was not allowing stags.

Malhotra, the founder of Nipman Foundation, is an activist for the specially-abled people. After he tweeted, there was an outpour of support on Twitter.

Was declined entry at Keya Delhi, DLF Promenade because they don't allow 'disabled' inside!
