JOIN USRajasthan High Court on Thursday issued directions to seal the office of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) with immediate effect.
The court has also summoned chairman of the Rajasthan Sports Council JC Mohanty and Jaipur police commissioner Janga Srinivas Rao on March 30.
Mohanty has been asked to submit a detailed report over the recent general meeting of RCA in which ex-IPL commissioner Lalit Modi was removed as president.
The police commissioner will present a factual report over the incident where Modi supporters were forcibly stopped from casting their votes during the no confidence motion against Modi.
Modi was removed from RCA president’s post on Monday after RCA members passed a no-confidence motion against him and his office-bearers. Modi supporters were forcibly stopped from entering in SMS stadium so that they do not cast their votes.
