The North Corporation has ordered an inquiry into the collapse of abandoned structure of community toilet complex located in Jahangirpuri D Block in which a child was injured.
North Delhi Municipal Corporation commissioner Praveen Gupta ordered that deputy commissioner of Civil Lines zone should conduct an inquiry into the matter and send a factual status report to him within two days.
A kid was injured in the incident and later evacuated on Wednesday evening. “The entire malba was removed in 32 trips of trucks and the site has been cleared by 5.30 am on Thurdsay,” the official said.
The commissioner said that the report should clearly mention whether there was any lapse on the part of an employee which led to collapse.
