Test is a gateway for admission to PG courses in govt medical, dental colleges

The scope for malpractices and impersonation in the test has been curtailed significantly with the introduction of OMR sheets. On completion of the entrance test, no candidate can leave the room without handing over his or her OMR sheet.

Care should be taken while answering the paper as even a minute, inadvertent touch or drop of ink on other ovals renders the answer invalid. Candidates defacing the OMR sheet or erasing the marked oval by raser, blade or any sharp object are liable for disqualification. Usage of whitner is also prohibited during the test.

On the scheduled day, the candidates shall be present at the centre 30 minutes before the commencement of the test. Only the candidates who possess the hall ticket shall be allowed to write the test. In case of loss of hall ticket the candidates should contact the Chief Superintendent of the centre two hours earlier for assistance. No candidate shall copy from the paper of any other candidate or permit his or her own papers to be copied or attempt to give or seek any illegal assistance.

In the same manner, no candidate will be admitted to the examination hall after the commencement of the Entrance Test.  A candidate will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the first thirty minutes.

Candidates leaving the hall prior to the end of the Entrance Test will have to hand over the question paper and OMR sheet to the room invigilator and collect the same at the end of the test.

No electronic gadgets

Candidate should sign the attendance sheet as per the instructions of the invigilator. Any candidate guilty of disorderly or improper conduct will be liable for expulsion from the examination hall and will be debarred from the Entrance test by the Chief Superintendent of the centre. Candidates are not permitted to carry any electronic gadgets like pager, cellhone, bluetooth into the examination hall. Except register number, candidates should not write or mark anything on the question paper booklet.
