Bihar invites investors from State

Launching the Bangalore chapter, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said the forum will also provide a platform for all interested to know more about Bihar and participate in the development of the state.

He said the state has witnessed a turn-around since 2006 when the JD(U)-BJP government took over. Several major projects in power and food processing sectors would be commissioned soon, he said. Nearly three lakh Biharis, across all sectors - from bureaucrats, IT professionals to labourers have settled in Karnataka. State IPS Officer Amar Kumar Pandey is the chairman of the Bangalore chapter.
