Young Lions Club’s Jehu Anderson and Aman Khan struck half-centuries before their bowlers produced an impressive performance to register a mammoth 269-run victory over Jaidur Cricketers in the Group I (I, II, III Division) Inter-club tournament here.
Anderson (70) and Aman (66), supported by cameos from Vrishank Revankar (39) and Rahul V (29), helped Young Lions to post a strong 344 for seven in 50 overs.
Young Lions’ bowlers then worked in tandem to skittle out Jaidur Cricketers for 75 in 20.3 overs. Puneet Dixit (2/17), Aman Khan (2/15), Rohan Shetty (2/8) and Julan JE (3/2) claimed two wickets apiece.
