A tourist from Bengaluru succumbed to injuries he had suffered after a glider crashed at Begurkolli in Virajpet taluk, on Sunday.
The deceased is Ramesh (55). Glider pilot Raji alias Subramani has suffered injuries and is undergoing treatment.
Raji was attracting tourists using the glider at Begurkolli. The mishap occurred when the glider was flying at a height of about 100 feet.
It is said that the glider developed a technical snag and crashed on the land.
Raji and Ramesh suffered serious injuries and were shifted to a hospital in Mysuru for treatment. Ramesh breathed his last on the way.
