JOIN US A girl in Uttar Pradesh climbed on to the bonnet of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abhinav Sharma’s luxury car and smashed its windshield after the latter’s gunner winked at her while overtaking her vehicle on a busy road in Agra town.
A video reportedly shot by a passer by showed the girl, identified as 23-year-old Sadhvi Pandey, standing on the bonnet of Sharma’s Mercedes, pulling the SP flag and hitting at the windshield repeatedly with it.
The video that went viral on the social media within a few minutes also showed a large crowd surrounding the SP leaders’ vehicle.
According to the reports, Sadhvi and her elder sister were going home on their scooty on Sunday evening, when the SP leader’s gunner winked at her as the mercedes overtook them on the road.
Although Sadhvi’s elder sister asked her to show restraint and forget the matter, she decided to act.
Sadhvi overtook Sharma’s car and stopped her scooty. She then jumped on to the bonnet of Sharma’s car as it slowed down owing to the traffic.
As Sadhvi dared the SP leader and his gunners to come out of the vehicle, his sister started taking pictures of the gunners.
Seeing that, one of Sharma’s gunners came out of the car, snatched her cell phone and threw it on the ground breaking it into several pieces, reports said.
Soon, a large crowd gathered and there and foiled the SP leader and his gunners’ efforts to terrorise the girls.
Abhinav Sharma reportedly settled the matter after paying for the damages to the cell phone and tendering an apology on behalf of his gunner.
