On Tuesday night, Gulnaaz who learnt about her husband’s second marriage stopped him from taking household articles  and utensils to his second wife who is said to be residing in Bangalore. Raged by this, Pasha poured kerosene on Gulnaaz and tried to sert her on fire.
Fortunately, neighbours who were watching the fight, stopped him and handed Pasha to police.  Pasha, who was employed in Middle East had married Gulnaaz, a resident of Gullanpet some years ago and has two children from her. Pasha lost his job in the Middle East after a passport fraud case and was deported to India. Pasha had been harassing Gulnaaz  for dowry, threatening her of marrying someone else if she failed to get dowry from her family. However, Pasha is said to have married a lady named Reshma from Balehonnur recently and has been taking all the commodities given by Gulnaaz’s family to his second wife. On Tuesday night Pasha was transporting gas cylinder from Gulnaaz’s house when she objected.
