<p>Setting an example for many, a team of fives housewives in Mumbai's Antop Hill and Wadala areas have teamed up to nab the rapists who are a threat and shame for our society.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to a report published in <a href="http://www.mid-day.com/articles/mumbai-police-appoints-housewife-secret-service-to-nab-rapists/16235198">Mid-day.com</a>, the Mumbai police has done a commendable job by appointing these housewives as secret agents for nabbing rapists in their areas.<br /><br />These housewives have been assigned the job of spotting womanizers, drug addicts, other anti-social elements in their areas and reporting it to the police.<br /><br />These ladies have been well-trained by the Mumbai police for this special job. The identity of these housewives would be kept confidential for their safety.<br /><br />A senior police officer, who is a part of this innovative venture, told Mid-day.com, "Five women were picked from different areas. In four different sessions, we trained them how to track people. They were taught the methods police use to follow people."<br /><br />After the success of this project in Antop Hill and Wadala, other areas too would be getting their detective housewives soon.</p>
