Housewives team up to nab rapists

Setting an example for many, a team of fives housewives in Mumbai's Antop Hill and Wadala areas have teamed up to nab the rapists who are a threat and shame for our society.

According to a report published in Mid-day.com, the Mumbai police has done a commendable job by appointing these housewives as secret agents for nabbing rapists in their areas.

These housewives have been assigned the job of spotting womanizers, drug addicts, other anti-social elements in their areas and reporting it to the police.

These ladies have been well-trained by the Mumbai police for this special job. The identity of these housewives would be kept confidential for their safety.

A senior police officer, who is a part of this innovative venture, told Mid-day.com, "Five women were picked from different areas. In four different sessions, we trained them how to track people. They were taught the methods police use to follow people."

After the success of this project in Antop Hill and Wadala, other areas too would be getting their detective housewives soon.
