Bangalore University will confer an honorary doctorate on film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar at its convocation on Saturday.
University vice chancellor B Thimme Gowda said two others – educationist G K Narayana Reddy (for education, science and administration) and S Chinnaswamy Mamballi, a former Central PWD engineer (for social work) - will also be honoured on the occasion.
The governor’s office is the final approving authority for the names. The University Academic Council will suggest a list of names which will later be scrutinised by the Syndicate.
