CBI summons personal assistants of D K Ravi

The CBI officials have issued notices to seven personal assistants of IAS officer D K Ravi, to appear before them for interrogation in connection with his mysterious death. 

The CBI is investigating Ravi’s death case. The CBI officials have sent the notices to Ravi’s personal assistants Venkanna and Dharmendra Prasad, car drivers Gurappa and Maruthi, gunman Santhosh, computer operater Khaleel and office clerk Rafeeq to the deputy commissioner’s office through fax on Wednesday. 

Ravi had worked as the deputy commissioner here from Aug 2013 to Oct 2014. They have been told to appear for the investigation at CBI office in Bengaluru on June 6 and 8.

The CBI officials had recently visited the deputy commissioner’s office and enquired the personnel who worked with Ravi. The officials had taken several documents including attendance register into their custody.
