JOIN USA techie’s house in an apartment at Bellandur near HSR Layout was burgled in the early hours of Sunday. According to police, Savitha Jain was residing in the house on the second floor in JM Reddi Royal apartment.
Around 4.30 am, burglars gained entry into the house through the rear door. They made away with gold ornaments weighing 90 grams from the cupboard in the bedroom, while Savitha was asleep. The incident came to light, when she woke up in the morning and found the cupboard open and the valuables missing. She informed the police, who visited the spot and have obtained the CCTV footage from the apartment.
Jain was staying alone in the house, as her husband is in London on official work. It is suspected that some one known to the victim had committed the crime.
