Henkel Adhesive Technologies India, an adhesives, sealants and functional coatings provider, has decided to invest around Rs 200 crore-Rs 250 crore (about €30 million) to set up an adhesives plant in Kurkumbh, near Pune. The new plant is expected to start production by 2017.
“In the first phase, the facility will have an operational area of about 20,000 sq metres and the annual capacity is expected to be about 80,000 tonnes of adhesives and surface treatments,” Henkel Group India President Jeremy Hunter said.
