JOIN USA 23-year-old employee of an e-commerce company committed suicide at her residence in an apartment in Gorguntepalya in Yeshwantpur. The deceased, Deepika, a native of Coimbatore, was married to Vinod, 26, also from Coimbatore, for over two years.
The couple were found fighting frequently over certain issues. Deepika's parents intervened and tried to resolve the fight. The couple also shifted to Gorguntepalya from Ulsoor recently.
A week ago, they fought again and Vinod left the house and did not return. Deepika was alone at her house, said the police.
On Friday, the neighbours sensed stench emanating from the house and informed the police, who broke open the door and found the decomposed body of Deepika. She might have committed suicide around three days, the police said, adding that they have summoned Vinod for questioning.
A case has been registered in Yeshwantpur police station.
