Report on damage to apartment to be submitted today

The expert committee report on the damage to the Queens Corner apartment could not be submitted as one of the members has gone outstation.

Sources in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike said the expert committee was supposed to submit its report on Thursday but now, it is expected on Friday.

As the damage caused to Queens Corner apartment was mainly due to the builder constructing apartment adjacent to the affected building, an investigation has been launched to identify the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) gangman, who twisted the 119-year-old water pipeline of British era, resulting in leakage of water. Also, action will be initiated against the builder as well as the ward assistant engineer who remained mum when the violations were happening.
