BJP legislative party meeting today

The State BJP is organising a day-long meeting of its legislative party members and office-bearers at a resort on the outskirts here on Friday to chalk out a political strategy for the next few months.

All legislators, MPs and senior party functionaries will be attending the meeting. The party sources said the meeting will fine-tune its strategy to take on the ruling Congress on various issues, including illegal lottery, illegal cricket betting, Minor Irrigation Minister Shivaraj Thangadagi in connection with a recent murder case in Koppal, forthcoming legislature session and dues to sugarcane farmers.

The party’s strategy for  BBMP elections and its contact programmes with newly enrolled members will be discussed.
