Delhi to take on Bangalore in final of Poly Umrigar trophy

In their respective semifinals, Delhi team won by seven wickets against Guru Gobind Singh Sports College, Lucknow, while Presidency defeated Rizvi Springfield High School, Mumbai, by the same margin.

For Vidya Jain school, Sufiyan Alam (67) and Nitish Rana (51) scored half-centuries to achieve the target of 160 runs set by Guru Gobind Singh College in 34.4 overs for the loss of three wickets.

In another semifinal, Sufiyan Syed (3/14), Sanjith Shankar (3/13) and Kaushik Udupa (2/23) produced some genuine pace as Presidency School bowled out the Mumbai side for a paltry 98 in 35 overs.
Bangalore boys achieved the target in just 28 overs making 100 for three. Prithviraj Singh (44 not out) and C A Karthik (24) made merry making bulk of scoring.

Guru Gobind Singh Sports College, Lucknow 160 for 9 in 50 Overs (Himanshu Asnora  33,  Mohd. Saif 24, Nishat Rai 21,  Lakhan Singh 21 Abhishek Shokeen three for 14, Sakib Alam two for 23) lost to Vidya Jain Public School, DELHI 164 for 3 in 34.4 Overs(Sufiyan Alam 67, Nitish Rana 51 not out, Avinash Gangey 22,  Mohd.  Saif two for 32) and
Rizvi Springfield High School, Mumbai 98 all out in 35.5 Overs (Karan Vashodia 18,  Sufiyan Syed three for 14, Sanjith Shankar three for 13 and  Kaushik Udupa two for 23) lost to Presidenecy School, R T Nagar, Bangalore 100 for 3 in 28 overs (Prithviraj Singh 44 not out (83b, 6 x 4)  C A Karthik 24 and Avinash Udadhyay two for 21).
