“We have done a festival here with Emerge. We think it’s definitely an upcoming scene for Live music and we would like to come up here more,” the band said in an email interview with PTI.

The drum and beat band, a global platinum selling quartet created ripples in the international music circuit with its album Home which debuted in number one position in the UK and was nominated for a Mercury Prize in 2013.

“We have seen a lot of British bands coming in performing in India. We think such performances are making a difference and we feel it’s definitely an upcoming scene for live music,” says a band member.

liquid funk, jungle, breakbeat and soul.On their previous visit to the country, the band had to call off their Delhi gig due to rains, but were lucky this time around when they played a new track from their upcoming new album, We The Generation.

“It feels great, we have performed once in Bangalore and the show was cancelled in Delhi because of monsoon and we are here again in monsoon. As a band we have got so much love from the fans, especially when we came to India before, the response that we got was amazing.”

The band played at the Lalit hotel in Delhi and Mumbai as part of the Vh1 Supersonic Club nights.“Yes, we have got our new album, which we recently finished and we had got it all on our USB and played some tracks from it. You know it’s always exciting to test the new record in a club, to know how it sounds, and to get the club and crowd reaction to it,” a band member said.
