JOIN USA British High Commission team visited the State Congress and BJP offices in the City and interacted with leaders of both parties.
The team comprising Andrew Soper, Minister Counsellor (Political and Press), and Ian Felton, Deputy High Commissioner, visited the BJP office on Thursday and interacted with the city legislators, including Suresh Kumar, Ravi Subramanya and Ashwathnarayana.
Kumar said issues relating to the BJP’s growth in Karnataka, the present political scenario, the State’s economy, industrial climate and potential field of collaboration between India and the UK were discussed.
The team also visited the Congress office on Wednesday and met State party chief G Parameshwara. They discussed the initiatives taken by the government in the education sector and the development of industries in the State.
