A 35-year-old biker died after his bike crashed into a speed breaker, which he failed to notice, on the link road in High Grounds traffic police station limits early on Thursday. He was not only drunk, but was also not wearing helmet.
Shankar Vachani, a businessman from Kumara Krupa Road, was riding a bike around 3.30 am.
The bike hit a speed breaker, which Vachani failed to notice. He could not control his bike and collapsed on the ground. He suffered serious head injuries and died, police said.
