Brangelina sign 205 million divorce deal

If reports are to be believed, the power couple, known in Hollywood as Brangelina, has signed a £205 million split deal after meeting a top divorce lawyer. Legal papers, which the pair allegedly signed this week, reveal they plan to share their fortune equally and custody of their six children, “News of the World” newspaper reported.
The agreement will give them joint custody; the children, three of whom are adopted, will live with Jolie, the paper said.

The news comes after months of speculation that the couple, who are not married, were headed for a split.
Preparations for the break-up reportedly began in December when they visited a Los Angeles legal firm to carve out a deal dividing the property between them. Pitt, 45, and Jolie, 34, are expected to announce their break-up soon.
“The document was signed in early January. Both Brad and Angelina had signed it. It seemed clear they want the world to know they’ll both play a part in the upbringing of the children. But Angelina will actually be the one who lives with them full-time,” the newspaper quoted a source as saying.

“There’s no date for when the contract would come into effect. But the paperwork is already organised for a break- up — and for it to be as unmessy for them as possible. It is clear it’s a case of when they break up rather than if,” the source added.
The couple fell for each other while shooting “Mr and Mrs Smith” in 2004 where they played warring couple on screen.

Pitt divorced Jennifer Aniston in January 2005 months after meeting Jolie. He was also engaged to actress Gwyneth Paltrow before marrying Aniston.
Jolie has been divorced twice from “Monster’s Ball” star Billy Bob Thornton in 2003 and “Trainspotting” actor Johnny Lee Miller in 1999.
Pitt and Jolie have three adopted children— Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, and Zahara, 5 — and three biological kids, Shiloh, 3, and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
