Workshop for French translators

BITS, an Indian translation company, organised an interactive session with experienced translator Cindie Delauvaux in Pune recently, for professional and aspiring French translators and interested students of the language. The workshop received a positive response, with an informative session by Sandeep Nulkar, Chairman and MD, BITS and Cindie Delauvaux, Head of Operations of BITS, France. “In the backdrop of the global financial turmoil, when Western companies are on shoe-string budgets, we have seen an increased demand for translations from European languages into English which until now were being done in the UK and USA. Obviously, the overall improvement in the level of service will also benefit the Indian industry,” said Sandeep.
