JOIN US Home Minister K J George on Sunday said that he will write to the Central government urging it to implement “One Rank One Pension” scheme at the earliest.
He was speaking at the Commemoration of Kargil Vijay Diwas, National Military Memorial in the City. Several senior military officers along with police officers and the Home minister, paid homage to the martyrs who laid down their life during the Kargil war.
Geprge also mentioned that they will request the Central government to implement the “One Rank One Pension” scheme at the earliest, as the pension amount received by the military personnel is quite low. “Our nation should give back for the families who have lost their loved ones during wars and through such schemes, we will be helping the families.”
