Batting first, Social Cricketers were skittled for 194 runs in 43.3 overs, with Shivam N (57) making useful contribution. Daniel (4/20) and Sanil (3/16) bowled well for Vijaya CC.
In reply, Vijaya CC rode Nachiketh’s quickfire 108 runs off 91 balls, including 16 fours and two sixes, to reach the target in 33.2 overs for the loss of four wickets.
In another tie, Jawahar Sports Club beat Morden Cricket Club by five wickets.
Chasing a target of 226 in 50 overs, Jawahar SC was led by an unbeaten 69 from Saksham Kaul as they achieved the target in the 40th over with five wickets in hand.
