JOIN USThe Bengaluru Urban district authorities on Monday handed over the keys of Shakthi Resorts back to its owner, two days after they took over the property.
The move comes in the wake of the owner Arunachalam moving the High Court and slamming the district administration at a press meet, explaining how it was at fault showing 31 acres of land in survey number-8 of Vaddarapalya in Rajarajeshwari Nagar as 33.5 acres at one place and 32.25 acres elsewhere. He explained how the authorities used “ill-intended faulty maths” to show him in bad light.
By evening, the Bengaluru South tahsildar ordered his staff to hand over the keys to the owner. On Saturday, the property was taken over. It was said that the temple, resort, swimming pool and office in Survey Number-8 of Vaddarapalya, belonging to the government, were encroached upon.
