A high-power committee and an executive committee, formed to carry out preparations for the Dasara Nada Habba, will meet in Bengaluru on August 10 to chalk out plans for the 10-day event.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will preside over the high-power committee, while district in charge minister V Srinivas Prasad will serve as working president, with various ministers and MLAs and MLCs of the old Mysuru region as members, according to a notification issued by the under secretary of the Kannada and Culture and Information department.
The notification has been issued following a government order, in response to a proposal by the Mysuru Deputy Commissioner to constitute the committees for the smooth conduct of Dasara. Prasad will be the president of the executive committee.
