Youth from B' luru drowns in Gokarna beach

 A 30-year-old man from Bengaluru drowned in the sea at Gokarna on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Shivakumar K M, a resident of Bapujinagar, Bengaluru. He was an employee with a private company.

Shivakumar had come on a tour to Gokarna in a group of 13 people.
He and Satish Doddegowda, also of Bengaluru, were washed away by huge waves in the sea. While local people rescued Doddegowda, Shivakumar met a watery grave, police said.
Gokarna police have registered a case.
