2016 Fulbright Distinguished Awards
United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) has announced the 2016 Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Programe. It invites applications from full time Indian teachers teaching any subject at any level (primary, middle or secondary) at a school in India.
This programme is also open to primary and secondary level media specialists/librarians, guidance counselors, curriculum specialists, special education coordinators, gifted and talented coordinators, and administrators who spend at least fifty percent of their time teaching or working directly with students. Teacher trainers are also eligible. Application deadline for Indian candidates is October 9, 2015.

Social innovation challenge
University of Southampton launches the International Social Innovation Challenge in collaboration with OP Jindal Global University to run the first International Social Innovation Challenge, supported by British Council India. Under this partnership, the Social Impact Lab at the University of Southampton is sending 10 students to India from 22 to 31 August to take part in a social innovation programme that will bring real and sustainable change to tackle a pressing global issue. Fellowship Programme 2015
Azim Premji Foundation has announced its annual Fellowship Programme starting December 14, 2015. Applications for this programme are invited from people having 3 to 10 years of work experience, with a post-graduate or a professional degree in any discipline and the desire to contribute to quality and equity in education. The Fellowship carries a monthly stipend of Rs 27000.
