<p>Remount Veterinary Corps (RVC) edged past Indian Navy Polo and Equestrian Club (INPEC) 4-3.5 to book their spot in the final of the six-goal Gyan Jyoti tournament of the Bangalore Polo Season at the Agram ground on Tuesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>RVC came into the match with a handicap of four while the Indian Navy had a handicap of three, giving them a half-goal of handicap advantage in the fixture.<br /><br />It was hard to separate the teams in the first chukker, with Cdr Akhil Sirohi scoring for the Navy and RVC's Dfr Ram Singh cancelling out the advantage.<br /><br />The game was a lot more open in the second and third chukker as five goals were scored in total. <br /><br />Sirohi scored a goal in each of the chukkers and took his match tally to three but it was to be in vain. <br /><br />Dfr Vijay Singh scored one in the second chukker and two in the third to seal the game for RVC, as both teams were unable to find a goal in the fourth chukker.<br /><br />Cavalry in summit clash<br /><br />In the other semifinal, 61 Cavalry Polo Club eased past Army Service Corps 4-2. Vishal Chauhan of 61 Cavalry maintained the momentum of scoring goals in each chukker and also kept the pressure on the opposite team.<br /><br /> Cavalry PC will now face RVC in the final of the tournament, which will be played on Wednesday.<br /><br /></p>
