Toyota Motors chairman meets chief minister

Chairman of Toyota Motors Corporation, Japan, Takoshi Uchiyagamada, called on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the Vidhana Soudha on Monday.

The company’s representatives said it was just a courtesy call by the head of Toyota Motors. Takoshi Uchiyagamada also met Industries Minister R V Deshpande and held discussion on the company’s plan for expansion in Karnataka. Naomi Ishil, Managing Director, Toyota, Shekar Vishwanathan and Vikram Kirloskar of Toyota Kirloskar were also present.
