Protest erupts in Jaipur against 'Veer'

The protestors damaged some vehicles and glass door of a cinema hall in Jhotwara and Vaishali Nagar localilty of the city on Saturday following which 22 activists have been arrested. The Sena activists are objecting to certain scenes dialogues in the Anil Sharma directed film allegeding anti-Rajput sentiments. They had earlier approached the district collector to stop screening of the film till the objectionable scenes were removed.

It is second jolt for the Salman Khan starrer movie since its making. Its shooting in Jaipur was stalled last year when a wall collapsed at the historic Amber Fort during shooting and had also sparked off controversy over damage to the heritage structure.
