JOIN USAfter Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s announcement to expand his Cabinet, Karnataka in-charge Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh has called a meeting with him and KPCC President G Parameshwara in New Delhi on September 24.
Singh, who is currently in the US, will arrive in New Delhi on September 23. He will meet Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the KPCC president the next day to discuss the Cabinet expansion, sources close to him said.
It is learnt that after their discussion, the trio will meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi on September 25.
With a large number of MLAs lobbying for Cabinet posts, the leaders will take a final call on whether to expand the Cabinet or go for a minor reshuffle by dropping a few ministers, sources said.
