Make your skin glow with fruits

Fruits are not only good for your health, but also for your skin as they rejuvenate and hydrate the organ. Here are some fruits that will help your skin glow and look youthful:

Banana: It is a rich source of potassium, manganese, biotin, Vitamins C and B6. The vitamins help maintain elasticity of the skin, while the antioxidants prevent ageing. As a natural moisturiser, it can be used in scrubs and masks.

Orange: Along with Vitamin C, it also has beta carotene, folic acid, phosphates, iodides, iron, phytonutrients and flavonoids. These help treat dark spots and blemishes. Its peel can be used as a scrub for instant glow and skin whitening as it acts as a natural bleach. It is also removes dirt and dead skin, making the skin firmer.

Strawberry: Its high content of Vitamin C and manganese helps exfoliate and cleanse the skin, lighten age spots and freckles. It also contains ellagic acid, a UV protector.

Tomato: These are rich in Vitamins A, C and K. As an antioxidant, tomatoes help in preventing signs of aging and is widely used as a whitening and de-tanning agent.

Grapes: As the phytochemicals and phytonutrients are anti-inflammatory in nature, it helps in the regeneration and healing of the skin.

Papaya: Rich in carotenes, Vitamins B and C, flavonoids, folate and pantothenic acid, papayas keep your skin hydrated, making it supple and smooth. It is also known for its exfoliant and anti-ageing properties.

Avocado: With a high concentration of Vitamins A and E, it gives your skin a natural glow. It also helps in moisturising and rejuvenating the scalp.

Apples: Its Vitamin C helps boost collagen and tighten the skin, while the Vitamin A and antioxidants control acne and decrease pigmentation.
