Indrani Mukherjea's mother dead

Mother of Indrani Mukherjea, suspected to have murdered her daughter Sheena Bora, Durgarani passed away in Guwahati on Thursday evening.

Durgarani (82), who raised Indrani’s two children Sheena and Mikhail Bora, had been ill for a long time.

Her conditioned worsened ever since the Sheena Bora murder case surfaced last month, family sources said.

While Durgarani breathed her last on Thursday, her husband Upendra Bora continues to be unwell. He is bedridden, sources added.

Indrani’s son Mikhail Bora will conduct the last rites of his grandmother.
