Areas in North and West Bengaluru, which receive power from the Peenya receiving station, will be the worst affected because the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) is undertaking works in and around this area. Layouts falling under 66/11KV Abbigere, Brigade Gateway, Gokula, KHB, Mathikere, MEI Layout, Nagpura, Nandini Layout, Nelagedaranahalli, Platinum City, SRS Peenya, Sahakaranagar, Soladevanahalli, Widia, Welcast and Yelahanka Muss will be affected.

There will also be a disruption in power supply from 11 am to 2 pm in areas falling under Chandapura sub-division due to ongoing maintenance works. The areas to witness power shutdown are as follows- Bommasandra Industrial area, KSSIDC 2nd Stage, MTR Road, Bommasandra Industrial Area, Vinayakanagara Hebbagodi and surrounding areas.
