All the films, to be screened at the festival are about people with disabilities and their lives.

“These films have been selected out of 541 entries received from India and abroad. Hence it will also honour the contributions of the persons with disabilities,” Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities secretary Lov Verma told reporters on Monday.

The festival has been conceptualised by the Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry in collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation.
