Small Scale Industries in all taluks soon, says Jarkiholi

Minister for Small Scale Industries Satish Jarkiholi said the government is considering a proposal to establish small scale industries in all taluks in the State.

Speaking at a mega job fair organised by former MLA L R Shivaramegowda here on Tuesday, he said such job fairs bring a ray of hope to unemployed.

The minister called upon the educated, but unemployed youth to start small scale industries with new ideas. The government is ready to provide loan at 35 per cent subsidy, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Shivaramegowda said he will make a re-entry into the taluk politics by conducting a mass wedding ceremony soon.

Housing and District In-charge Minister M H Ambareesh lauded the efforts to conduct such job fairs, which provides job opportunities for hundreds of youths belonging to rural areas.

More than 75 companies participated in the mela and more than 3,000 aspirants applied for various posts. According to the coordinator, 1,400 aspirants have been selected in the day-long job mela.

Earlier, the programme was inaugurated by Adichunchanagiri seer Nirmalanandanatha Swami.
