Pramod's ton spurs Century Cricketers to 4-wkt victory

Pramod (100) struck a patient ton to give Century Cricketers a four-wicket win over BEL Colony Recreation Club in the KSCA Group I, Division IV league-cum-knockout tournament for the Metro Shield here.

BEL batted first and finished on 207 for seven in 50 overs as Harsha S struck an unbeaten 53. Ajay G Suresh (42) and Shiv Kumar (40) added valuable contributions.

In response, Century Cricketers overhauled the target in 41.3 overs losing six wickets, with Pramod leading the way.

Chinmay dazzles
Chinmay slammed an unbeaten 121 to set up Swastic Union Cricket Club’s 118-run victory against Chinthamani Sports Association, Chinthamani, in the U-14 KSCA Group I (Division I, II, III) Inter-club tournament here.

Swastic Union CC(2) rode on Chinmay’s ton, which came off 140 balls and included eight fours, to pile up a competitive total of 264 for four in 47 overs.

In response, the Chinthamani SA batsmen came a cropper and could manage only 146 all out in 37 overs. While Tejas bagged four for 30, Anirudh (2/40) and Dastagir (2/5) chipped in with two wickets each for the winners.
