Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday urged the United States of America Ambassador to India Richard Rahul Verma to join as partner country in the Invest Karnataka – 2016, scheduled to be held in February, 2016 in the City.
Verma, who is in the City to take part in US-India Aviation Summit being held from November 3 to 5, called on the Chief Minister at Vidhana Soudha. Siddaramaiah also urged Verma to bring a delegation of investors from the United States to the Invest Karnataka – 2016 event.
Siddaramaiah told Verma that he had recently interacted with several CEOs and senior functionaries of American companies and that they have exuded confidence in the investment climate in Karnataka. Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherjee urged Verma to open an US consulate office in Bengaluru.
