Educated are more corrupt, says Governor

People who are educated are more corrupt than those who are not well-educated, said Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala at a function on Saturday.

Inaugurating a national-level symposium on oral cancer organised by Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, he said, “Health ailments that affect an individual can be cured by medical treatment but the disease of corruption cannot be cured easily.”

Talking about advanced treatment facilities for oral cancer, the minister said that 25 years ago there were no treatment options for the disease. Now, oral cancer can be cured with the advanced medical treatment options,” he said.
