JOIN USA helmetless man, who was riding triple with two pillions, died on the spot when he lost control of the two-wheeler and rammed into a median on the Electronics City Main Road on Monday night.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Jnanadas Stalin alias Lala and the injured are Manju and Stephen. They were all unemployed and residents of Choodasandra.
The accident occurred around 10.45 pm, when Lala lost control of the vehicle. He was tossed up in the air and suffered serious head injuries, while Manju and Stephen escaped with minor injuries, said the police.
Passersby rushed Lala to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead. He was not wearing a helmet and the post-mortem report is awaited to ascertain if he was under the influence of alcohol, said the police.
