Agri Gold Case: 3-member panel submits report to HC

The three-member committee appointed by the high court to oversee the sale and distribution of assets to depositors of Agri Gold company, has submitted its report to the division bench of the high court in Hyderabad comprising of Acting Chief Justice D B Bhosale and Justice S V Bhatt on Monday.

The committee is headed by Justice TCH Surya Rao, retired judge of the high court, IAS officer K Ramakrishna Rao, secretary to finance, Telangana state and K Narasimha Murthy, financial expert.

The bench was dealing with a public interest litigation by the Telangana AgriGold Customers and Agents Welfare Association, represented by its president A Ramesh Babu.


The committee told the bench that is ready to put Rs 3,600 crore worth Agri Gold assets to auction from January 2016.
