Palike plans health camps across City every week

The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike will organise health awareness camp in each Assembly constituency on every Wednesday.

Mayor B M Manjunath Reddy launched the free health check-up programme from BTM Layout ward where a team of doctors from government hospitals such as Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research and Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, took part.

The mayor said that the objective of the camps was to make the medical facility available to every section of society.

Manjunath Reddy asked the Pourakarmikas (sanitation workers) to take advantage of these camps. Several pour akarmikas underwent medical tests at the camp.
